The Smiley is a carefully designed product that combines aesthetics, functionality, and user-centric innovation. This project aims to create a wash basin that addresses common challenges faced by users.

Ideation

The Smiley reimagines the traditional washbasin by tackling common user challenges, while infusing positivity and elegance into daily routines. Inspired by the curve of a smile, the design symbolises a cheerful start and finish to each day.

Two dedicated handles are integrated into the frame, one for a soap dispenser and the other for a dental kit, promoting a tidy and organised setup. 

A transparent glass panel within the basin minimises water splashing and spilling, ensuring a clean and safe environment. 

The sleek frame seamlessly supports a mirror with integrated lighting, enhancing both convenience and usability.

Key features include an integrated frame with a mirror and lighting, toiletry organisation, and a water splash guard. The design is both modern and timeless, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of any bathroom.

Wet and slippery floors, disorganised toiletry placement, and water splashes were tackled with a splash guard and integrated holders, reducing clutter around the sink. The design effortlessly blends functionality with aesthetics, offering a cohesive solution to everyday challenges.
